Here are some important reminders for events coming up for the next month or so here at Wayfarers Lodge #50.
June 6th through 8th
Annual Grand Communication which Wayfarers Lodge #50 was awarded the Master Architect Award for 2019.
Congratulations Wayfarers Lodge #50!
Tuesday June 11th 6:00 PM / 7:00 PM Dinner and Stated Meeting.
All are invited for dinner at 6:00 PM served and provided as a fundraiser for Valley of the Sun Demolay, Sun City.
All Masons are encouraged to stay for the meeting, where we’ll have a special presentation by the Glendale Squire Manor as Masonic Education. This will be the final stated meeting until September, but we will be staying busy throughout the summer.
Tuesday, June 18th 7:00 PM 9:00 PM – Long Range Planning Meeting
All officers and Trustees are to be in attendance. If you can not attend, contact the Worshipful Master.
Saturday, June 22nd 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM – Sunnyslope #47 OES 6th Annual Wii Bowling Tournament
Sunnyslope Chapter #47′s 6th Annual Wii Bowling Tournament, co-hosted by Peoria Chapter #59. There will trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, an award for the best team outfits and more! See the flyer on the Facebook page!
Monday, June 24th 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM – Ascension Lodge No. 89 Entered Apprentice Degree – Official Visit
Ascension Lodge No. 89 will have their very first Entered Apprentice Degree on Monday, June 24th.
Doors open at 5:00 PM, and will start the degree at 6:00 PM sharp. The Lodge is located at: 345 W Monroe Street Phoenix, Arizona 85003. This will be an Official Visit by Wayfarers Lodge No. 50 with all members attending. Light refreshments will be served following the degree. Attire is a dark suit or tux. This is requested by Ascension Lodge. We will need to bring our own aprons to this degree. We have permission from WM Harley Goodson of Ascension Lodge No. 89 to bring any and all EA/FC who would like to attend and be vouched for.
Tuesday, June 25th 7:00 PM 10:00 PM – Masonic Movie Night
The featured movie will be, “The Man Who Would Be King”.
Bring a friend interested in Freemasonry. All Entered Apprentices, Fellowcraft and Master Masons are encouraged to attend.
Tuesday, July 2nd 7:00 PM 9:00 PM – Fellowcraft Degree Practice
Fellowcrafts and Master Masons are to attend and prepare for our candidates to be elevated to the next degree.
Tuesday, July 9th 7:00 PM 9:00 PM – Fellowcraft Degree
Fellowcrafts and Master Masons are to attend for our candidates journey to the next degree.
Tuesday, July 16th 7:00 PM 9:00 PM – Officers and Trustee Meeting
Officers and trustees are asked to meet at Wayfarers Lodge #50 to discuss the long term future of the lodge.
Saturday, July 20th 8:00 AM 5:00 PM – Lodge Clean Up Day! ( 1 )
Everyone is encouraged to participate! Brothers, we will be preparing the lodge for painting the outside of the building and making other repairs. Please inform the WM that you will be attending. All three lodges are requested to assist in the Lodge Clean up Day!
The Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Baltimore Orioles game is on Tuesday, July 23rd 6:40 PM Start Chase Field. Tickets are $34. Remember, we have a limited supply of tickets available. Contact the Worshipful Master for details. Chase Field is located at 401 E. Jefferson Street in Phoenix, Arizona.
Saturday, July 27th 8:00 AM 5:00 PM – Lodge Clean Up Day! ( 2 )
